While Mondi Mágiko had a beautiful concept, one of the main challenges was positioning it not just as a light show, but as a must-experience cultural event.
December in Curaçao is crowded with activities, meaning competition for attention was high. Moreover, because the event was held in a relatively secluded natural environment, it was crucial to overcome potential concerns around accessibility and make the experience feel welcoming and safe for families, tourists, and locals alike.
Additionally, since every edition introduced new creative elements — like the “Kompa Nanzi” theme, we needed to continuously educate the audience about the evolving story without losing the festival’s core magical identity.
